The Islamabad Higher Education Commission (HEC) announced that it will conduct a uniform test for admission to undergraduate programs at all universities in Pakistan. The 2021 Undergraduate Admission Test (USAT) will be held quarterly and universities will accept the USAT score. The last date for online registration is September 01, 2021 and the USAT test will be held on September 12, 2021 tentatively.

The Higher
Education Commission Viz Education Testing Council (ETC) will conduct the
Undergraduate Study Admission Test (USAT) for admission to undergraduate level
in universities operating throughout Pakistan. The USAT is designed according
to the Academic Aptitude Test (SAT) pattern and covers all known disciplines of
Engineering, Medicine, IT, Management, and Social Sciences at the undergraduate
entry level. Students after qualifying USAT would be eligible for all colleges
as the SAT.
Who can apply for the undergraduate
admission test (USAT)?
Students who have passed the High
School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent education / Grade 12
Students who have appeared in the
final exam and are waiting for results.
Students who are 12 years / equivalent
education in any discipline.

Any score greater than and equal to 50 will be considered a qualified USAT score. The most anyone can get at USAT would be the perfect score of 100.
The test is initially proposed on a quarterly basis in major cities in Pakistan to be conducted simultaneously. However, further tests can be arranged if the need exists. The annual testing calendar will be uploaded to the ETC website and candidates can register through the online registration portal.
Colleges will continue to advertise
their admissions program independently. Students will apply to colleges and
submit the USAT ETC scorecard for inclusion in the weight-based merit
determination formula.

The submission of the application consists of two steps: completing the profile using the section "My profile" and submitting the application using the links "Admission test to undergraduate studies" in the menu panel on the left side bar of the online portal
Only SUBMITTED applications will be considered for the USAT Test and applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE mode will not be entertained.
The test fee for the Undergraduate Admission Test (USAT) is PKR 1,200 / - per candidate. Candidates will deposit the fee amount into Habib Bank Limited account no. 1742 7900 1334 01. Account title: Higher Education Commission.
Applicants must submit a copy of the online fee / ATM / transfer deposit slip via courier to the address: Member's Home, HEC Sector H-8, Islamabad prior to the last registration date.
The exam fee is
non-refundable and non-transferable.
