The United
States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP) invites applications for the
Fulbright Academic Program 2022. Approximately 15 fellows will be selected by
2022. Of these, 13 spaces are for teachers and researchers in the early stages
of their careers. research (2-7 years). Two spaces are for senior academics
(8-15 years old) from the completion of their doctorate. or terminal grade.
The Fulbright
Fellows program funds up to 12 months of lecture, postdoctoral research, or a
combination of the two at a US college or university .Selected individuals are
expected to share information about Pakistani society and culture with
students, colleagues and community groups in the United States. Upon returning
to Pakistan, Fulbright scholars are expected to make a significant contribution
to the development of Pakistan and share their American experiences with
students, colleagues, and community groups in Pakistan.

Eligibility
Criteria for USEFP Fulbright Scholar Programs
Academics, professionals and artists of all disciplines can apply, with the exception of clinical medicine. or terminal grade in their fields. Applicants must have had their degree for at least two years. (Individuals who have been in the United States for research or other long-term educational opportunities in the past five years are not eligible) Excellent command of written and spoken English Women, people with disabilities, and individuals from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, AJK, Gilgit - It is strongly recommended that Baltistan, Baluchistan, North Sindh and South Punjab apply. A clear and well formulated proposal on what they would like to achieve in the United States and how it relates to their work in Pakistan. The proposal is the single most important part of the application. Applicants for the chair must have demonstrated the ability to teach in a university setting. Pakistani nationals with strong academic backgrounds, residing and working in Pakistan.
Ineligibility
Individuals
with dual US / Pakistani nationality or who have a spouse, fiancé, parent, or
child over the age of 18 who is a US citizen or permanent resident Employees of
the Fulbright organization, the US Department of State, or USAID and their
spouses, children, boyfriends, siblings, dependents and parents. People already
studying in the United States or on a work / residency visa in any country,
plagiarism, fraudulent posts, or other misrepresentations will result in
disqualification at any stage of the program.
