The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is conducting the Law Admission Test (Law-LAT) for candidates who wish to gain admission into a five-year LLB degree program at recognized public and private sector universities / institutions from HEC / PBC and its accredited affiliated universities. The Admission Test to the HEC Law will be carried out in the main cities of the country. Students can select any center of their choice.

The HEC law admission test will take place on January 30, 2022. The last date to apply for the law admission test is January 17, 2022. Applications can be submitted online at the site HEC website. Please note that the HEC Admission Test is mandatory for admissions to the LLB program at any government or private university and its affiliated universities.

Who can request the admission test to the HEC law?

• Students who have passed the High School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent
• Students who have appeared in the final HSSC exam or equivalent and their result is awaited.

Any changes to the exam date will be communicated via http://etc.hec.gov.pk Applicants who register through HEC's online registration process will download their roll number sheets via http: //etc.hec.gov.pk one week before the exam date.

 

An email / SMS will be sent to registered applicants regarding the date, time and location of the exam. Candidates must provide valid phone / email numbers when completing the online application form.

A printout of the Roll Number Sheet and original CNIC will be required to enter the Exam Center.

How to register for the admission test to the HEC LAT 2022 law

1. Visit the following link: http://etc.hec.gov.pk to register online.
2. In case of any difficulties during online registration, please email etc@hec.gov.pk or visit the HEC Secretariat or regional centers for guidance. Trial fee worth Rs. 500 / - must be deposited online / ATM or by bank draft to Account No. 1742 7900 133401, Account Title: Higher Education Commission, Bank: Habib Bank Limited, Branch Code: 1742
3. Applicants must send a copy of the fee deposit slip / bank draft via courier or in person in Room No-212, 2nd floor, HRD Building. CET, H-8, Islamabad on or before the last registration date.
4. Please mention your CNIC number on the back of the deposit slip / bank draft. The exam fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The test will take place in the main cities.
5. Applicants can select any examination center from the list available on the application form. Please note that the test center will not be changed after registration.
6. The last date for online registration is January 17, 2022.
