The Higher Education Commission (HEC) is conducting a Law Admission Test (Law-LAT) for candidates who wish to gain admission to a five-year LLB degree program at recognized universities/institutions from the public and private sector of HEC/PBC and its affiliated accredited universities. The HEC Law Admission Test will be held in the main cities of the country. Students can select any center of their choice.

The HEC Law Admissions Test is rescheduled and will now take place on November 13, 2022. The last date to apply for the Law Admissions Test is October 31, 2022. Applications can be submitted online at the HEC website. Please note that the HEC Law Admission Test is mandatory for admission to the LLB program at any public or private university and its affiliated universities.

Who can apply for the HEC law admission test?

1. Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent
2. Students who have taken the HSSC final exam or equivalent and their result is awaited
3. Any changes to the exam date will be communicated via http://etc.hec.gov.pk Applicants registering themselves through the HEC online registration process will download their registration tickets via http ://etc.hec.gov.pk one week before the test date.
4. An email/SMS will be sent to registered applicants regarding the exam date, time and location. 
5. Candidates must provide a valid email/mobile number when completing the online application form.
6. To enter the Examination Center, a printed copy of the Roll Number Sheet and the original CNIC will be required.

How to register for the Law Admission Test HEC LAT 2022.

1. Please visit the following link: http://etc.hec.gov.pk to register online.
2. In case of any difficulties during online registration, please visit onlinehelp.gov.pk
3. The test fee worth Rs. 1250 / - will be deposited online / ATM or by bank transfer to account n. 1742 7900 133401, account title: Higher Education Commission, bank: Habib Bank Limited, branch code: 1742
4. Applicants may select any test center from the list available on the application form. Please note that the test center will not be changed after registration.
5. The last date for online registration is October 31, 2022.
