Mines Labor Welfare Commissioner, Government of Punjab offers scholarships for children of miners. Scholarship applications can be submitted for students enrolled in primary classes to master's programs. The Office of the Mines Labor Welfare Commissioner will pay an annual stipend to students. The scholarship application can be submitted for a maximum of two children per family.

The Scholarship application can be submitted at the Mining Labor Welfare offices located in different cities. The deadline for submitting the application form is extended until November 15, 2022.

Punjab Mines Welfare Commission Scholarship Yearly Stipend

A yearly stipend will be paid to the students according to the following:

1. ·         Class 1st to 5th: PKR: 1200/-
2. ·         Class 6th to 8th: PKR: 15000/-
3. ·         Class 9th-10th: PKR: 18,000/-
4. ·         Class 1th-12th: PKR: 24,000/-
5. ·         Graduate: BA/BSc/B.Com (14 years) - Day Scholars: PKR: 30,000/-
6. ·         Graduate: BA/BSc/B.Com (14 years) - Boarder: PKR: 40,000/-
7. ·         Postgraduate/Masters/BS/BBA/Medical/Engineering - Day Scholars: PKR: 60,000/-
8. ·         Postgraduate/Masters/BS/BBA/Medical/Engineering - Boarder: PKR: 80,000/-

How to Apply for Mine Labor Welfare Commissioner Punjab Scholarship

1. Application forms can be obtained from the offices of the Mining Labor Officers in Chakwal, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Khushab, D.G Khan and Multan.
2.  Incomplete applications will be rejected. 
3. Candidates must submit the following set of documents along with their admission application form at the time of admission:
4. Mining CNIC.
5. Social Security card of worker / miner / Old Age Benefits Card.
6. Certified copy of the worker's signature card or letter of appointment
7. CNIC/ Family Registry Certificate issued by NADRA of the future student.
8. In the case of a deceased/disabled worker/miner, proof of receiving a Death Grant/Disability Pension must be submitted.
