Islamabad Capital Territory Police, also known as Islamabad Police/ICT Police, came into being on January 1, 1981. The purpose of the ICT Police is to meet the need for a separate police organization for the federal capital Islamabad to ensure the rule of law, protect lives and property, and curb civil disorder.
The purpose of the TIC Police organization is to preserve public peace and safety by enforcing local, state and federal laws and providing help/assistance in emergency or crisis situations.
Islamabad Capital Territory Police invite online applications from all over Pakistan according to the provincial/regional quota set by the Federal Government to ensure transparency and merit.
Based on the regional/provincial quotas outlined, candidates from Islamabad Capital Territory, Punjab, Rural Sindh, Urban Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), Balochistan, FATA, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK are eligible.
Quotas for women and minorities are also outlined for each province/region. Full details of the selection and application procedure are uploaded to the Islamabad Police employment portal.
Online Application Form for TIC Police Jobs 2022
- Interested applicants should apply online through the ICT Police website www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk Or click here. They can complete the online form within 15 days.
- The TIC Police will never accept applications submitted by hand or by post. Candidates are expected to provide complete and correct information on the online form. In case of providing false information, candidates will be sanctioned according to article 420/468/471.
- A transgender person can apply according to their self-perceived gender identity under the provisions of the Transgender Persons (Protection of Rights) Act 2018, and the gender mentioned in the CNIC.
- Children of retired or serving police employees applying on a family claim must provide complete information, such as pension book or retirement order, at the time of the interview.
- After submitting the online form, the receipt of the examination list number will be uploaded to www.islamabadpolice.gov.pk after the scrutiny of the applications. The roll number ticket will provide details of the test date, time and location.
