The Sindh government has given 15 years general age relaxation for government jobs. Now applicants with a maximum age of 43 years can apply for government jobs in the province. A notification has been issued in this regard.
According to the notification, the Sindh government allowed relaxation up to a maximum of 15 years in the upper age limit to all the applicants who applied for the vacancies in all the government departments of Sindh. The easing will be applicable from July 1, 2022 to June 1, 2024, he added.
The notice reads: "In continuation of the Notice of this even-numbered Department dated 27 July 2020 and with the approval of the Chief Minister, Sindh, notwithstanding the content of the table contained in Rule 12(2) of Sindh Civil Servants (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer), 1974, and the orders contained in Standing Order No. SORI (SGA&CD) 6/4/85, dated 19.04.2004, Standing Order No. SORI (SGA&CD) 6 /4/85, dated 15.06.2004 and Corrigendum dated 02.07.2004 issued in this belief, the Government of Sindh is pleased to allow relaxation up to a maximum of fifteen (15) years in the upper age limit for all applicants applying for vacancies in all Sindh Government Departments (except Police Service and posts to be filled through a Sindh Public Service Commission Combined Competitive Examination) to be filled during the period of 1 July from 2022 to June 30, 2024 in the relaxation of the Rules.
